Our Special Needs Cats

From the very beginning, PuppyKittyNYCity has held a special place in our hearts for special needs animals. That love became even more personal through Figaro, our inspiration and ambassador, whose mom is our Executive Director, Meagan, and his brother Legend, her beloved double amputee. Together, they remind us every day that special needs cats can live happy, fulfilling lives—and deserve every opportunity to do so.
We love the cats who need a little extra help: the wobbly ones, the seniors, those missing an eye or a limb, and those living with chronic medical conditions. We see their personalities, their resilience, and the love they have to give.
Some of these cats find wonderful adopters, while others stay with us for months or years. Our commitment to their care lasts as long as they need us. Monthly sponsorships help provide safe shelter, food, special diets, medication, veterinary treatment, and the daily comforts every cat deserves.
